Bloom And Glow - A Modern Flower Quilt Pattern

Is it a Flower Quilt? Is it a Star Quilt? It's both!

A modern quilt inspired by nature from Heck Yes Sew Co.

Bloom And Glow was inspired by evening walks through wildflower fields and how golden hour light shines through individual blooms. The name is also a nod to the lyrics "bloom and grow" from the song "Edelweiss", as the design loosely resembles the song's namesake flower.

In the photo above, peachy flower petals are surrounded by leaves in orange with sparkles of light shining through in purple. I think the design also lends itself to be representative of shining stars and twinkling light.

The cover version was made using Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids in toasty walnut, gingerbread, thistle, and creme de la creme.

The mix & match fat quarter friendly version was made using Sprout Wovens by Fableism in malachite, arctic, cenote, storm, terracotta, spicy, rose clay, sun glow, cider, and cream and is oh so cozy.

Bloom And Glow is a block-based pattern and is available in 4 sizes including mini, baby, throw, and twin. It also comes in 2 colorways: yardage and a mix & match fat quarter friendly version.

The Bloom And Glow quilt pattern is listed as an intermediate skill level; however, I wanted to provide additional resources to help make this project more approachable to quilters who wanted to stretch their skill set and who may not have had as much experience with the techniques that are used in the pattern (sewing curves, trimming curves, trimming HRTs, etc.). A video tutorial that walks you through how to make each step of the quilt is included in the pattern!
